Corporate Executive Chef Mike Downing has been an essential part of the

PreGel America team, based in Charlotte, NC for the past 12 years.

Before coming to PreGel, Chef Mike and his family lived in Las Vegas, NV, where he

was a pastry chef for MGM Resorts International for 9 years, first at Bellagio and

then at Aria Resort & Casino. These days, Chef Mike and his team host training

sessions in Charlotte, NC, teaching customers from around the world how to

maximize PreGel’s ingredients to get the best results possible. 

When they aren’t holding trainings, he and his team also travel throughout the US and

internationally to work with customers and companies seeking to improve their

dessert offerings. Chef Mike’s greatest passion is creating unique and delicious

ice creams, gelato, and all types of frozen desserts.
